Love this and hope you keep the videos coming (although hard no for me on the captions 😂). I'm interested in check out all these books ; ) but specifically Platonic, as cultivating more friendships is on my reflection and goals list for this year.
My vote for #3 is Remarkably Bright Creatures! I love non-fiction books but I prefer fiction when I travel, especially with my kids (who often interrupt my reading) because it feels more "indulgent." Plus, who doesn't love a sentient octopus narrator?
Unreasonable Hospitality is SO good! The gift of someone making you feel special is priceless.
Lessons in Chemistry was waaay better than I was expecting… enough so that I can’t bring myself to watch the show in the [likely] event it’s not as good.
My rec for the 3rd slot is Starry Messenger by Neil deGrasse Tyson. 3 reasons:
1. It’s timely with all that’s going on out there.
2. It’s cleverly written to make you think and laugh.
3. It’s physically the smallest of the three as you’re running out of space.

Amazing! Going on the list!
I watched the Masterclass version of #1 and read #2 so I guess #3 needs to go on my (very, very long) Amazon list.
(The captions were on point!)

Great idea! My son is a huge NDT fan, so he would read that, too!!
I’ve been getting up 2 or 3 hours early everyday for months now to learn new skills for a career transition, so thank you for the warning! 😱😱😱
just go to bed earlier and then you can keep the early morning study sessions!!
I can't wait to add these to my reading list!!
